"Chances upon a fairly large wasp nest perched on a tree at Sumang on Friday morning. Concerned for the safety of regular passerbys especially young kids, I contacted Punggol Town Council for assistance. Ms Wiyah from the Town Council was patient and attentive to the details being provided over the phone. This (Sat) morning, I passed by the same spot and saw that the wasp nest had been removed. Thanks to the prompt action by Ms Wiyah of Punggol Town Council, the area is now safe for passerbys."
