Mr Charles Chong You Fook
2nd Adviser, Pasir Ris - Punggol Town Council

Chong You Fook, Charles, is the Vice President, Quality and Safety at SIA Engineering Company.

He was elected MP for Sembawang GRC in 1988; MP for Eunos GRC in 1991; MP for Pasir Ris GRC in 1997; and MP for Pasir Ris - Punggol GRC in 2001.

Charles has served as Chairman of Pasir Ris - Punggol Town Council; North East Community Development Council; National Police Cadel Corps Council; Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers; Singapore Quality Institute; National Productivity Association and Government and Sports.

Charles attended Sydney Technical College in Australia from 1973 - 1976 on a Qantas Airways Scholarship. He is a qualified aircraft maintenance engineer and served overseas postings with SIA in Dubai, Bahrain, Seattle and Toulouse. He was active in the labour movement from 1985 - 1988 and served as President and General Secretary of SIA Staff Union.

Charles is married with two children.
